About Me & The Clinic
I am Sue Horne, a fully qualified Foot Healthcare Practitioner (not to be confused with a Podiatrist) dedicated to delivering high quality professional treatment care and maintenance of your feet. I qualified with Stonebridge College gaining a Diploma in Professional Foot Healthcare in 2017. I am registered with the Register for Foot Health Care Practitioners and Member of Open College of Foot Health and my aim is to deliver a reliable, welcoming and personalised service in which you can trust and have confidence in.
My clinic is a welcoming and safe environment for you to come and have your footcare issues addressed. I run an ‘by appointment only’ system which also allows for only single or couples to attend at any one time.
Treatments
When it comes to common foot health issues, I use simple but effective solutions that do not require surgery. I will work with you to achieve your goals and to minimise further problems. However, there will be times that I feel I can’t help, so I will therefore refer you to either a Podiatrist or your GP.
My treatments include: toenail trimming and filing; fungal and thickened nails; enucleate corns, reduction of callus; treatment and management of ingrowing toenails; verruca treatment; athletes’ foot; diabetic foot healthcare; toenail reconstruction and general foot healthcare and advice.
FootBalance & Biomechanics
Your feet are a fundamental part of your body providing foundation for all your weight bearing activities. Therefore, if there is misalignment or poor foot function this can create pain and tension in the muscles and joints of the feet and further up the body such as the ankles, knees, hips and back.
FootBalance are an innovative insole providing the benefits of custom orthotics at an affordable price. There is a wide range of models to customise your footwear for a perfect fit providing correct alignment, superior support, return of energy and great comfort. Designed to help with conditions such as overpronation or excessive supination, resulting in common injuries such as plantar fasciitis, shin splints, runner’s knee and associated problems with heel, knee, and back pain.

“Sue made some insoles for my shoes having suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for many months. They were quick and easy to make, and Sue’s manner was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I did think they were expensive at the time but now say they are worth every penny as I have had no further foot pain and they have also helped my back.”
