I am Sue Horne, a fully qualified Foot Healthcare Practitioner (not to be confused with a Podiatrist) dedicated to delivering high quality professional treatment care and maintenance of your feet. I qualified with Stonebridge College gaining a Diploma in Professional Foot Healthcare in 2017. I am registered with the Register for Foot Health Care Practitioners and Member of Open College of Foot Health (MCFH) and my aim is to deliver a reliable, welcoming and personalised service in which you can trust and have confidence in.
My Role
My primary role as a Foot Healthcare Practitioner is to help people with their foot care problems. Not just by treating your feet but by giving on-going advise, treatment plans, advice on the type of shoes and hosiery you should be wearing to keep your feet happy, healthy, comfortable and in great condition.
Hygiene
Hygiene is paramount to any treatment. I use professional equipment which is regularly serviced. For each treatment I use sterilised pouched instruments that have been scrubbed, ultrasonically cleaned, individually wrapped and autoclave sterilised at 134°. The clinic is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day ensuring you can fully relax in the knowledge that I take your health and welfare extremely seriously.
The Clinic
My clinic is a welcoming and safe environment for you to come and have your footcare issues addressed. I run an ‘by appointment only’ system which also allows for only single or couples to attend at any one time.
Parking & Access
The clinic is conveniently located just out of the town centre where there is plenty of on street parking. There is a very small step into the clinic which to date all my clients with limited mobility have managed. The treatment room is furnished with a professional podiatry chair for your comfort and safety with clear easy access from the front door.
